Iftaar Meals

Ramadaan Iftaar

“Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.”                                                                                Sunan Ibn Majah 1746

This program presents itself only in the month of Ramadaan for Muslims who are fasting and those locals who wish to join them for the evening meal. This provides The Heartwarmers Foundation with a unique opportunity to address the low nutrition in Malawi by providing a second meal for all age groups.

£30 provides iftaar for 100 people.

This is only eligible for lillah/nafl sadqah donations.

This programme is no longer taking donations.

School Breakfast

Help Feed and Educate Today!

Our most successful program to date ensures that two key needs are fulfilled. In children aged 5-14, after housing the two greatest needs are education and nutrition. 37.4% of children aged 5-14 have no breakfast and 43.8% are deprived of education.

Since The Heartwarmers Foundation  have been providing grants for breakfast in schools, attendance has increased significantly by as much as 400% in some schools.

This program is eligible only for lillah/nafl sadqah donations only

Madrassa Evening Meal

Help Feed and Educate.

The madrassa feeding program builds on the school feeding program by allowing us to provide an evening meal to children who attend madrassa.

This program is eligible only for lillah/nafl sadqah and zakaat.

Food Packs

Essential Nutrition Delivered: Monthly Food Packs

Housing

Meeting Urgent Needs: Providing Essential Support Where It's Needed Most

52.1% of children aged 5-14 do not have adequate housing. The main drivers being inadequate flooring and roofing.

The Heartwarmers Foundation has built 26 houses for those in need concentrating on the elderly or sick with priority given to those who have children living with them.

This program is eligible for both lillah/nafl sadqah and zakaat. Please contact us prior to donating to this program as we can ensure we can provide transparency on timings.

We are not currently building housing. Please contact us for further details.

Water Pumps

"The best charity is giving water to drink, and He was the most generous in giving charity."                   Ahmad

There has been significant progress in water sources within 30 minutes for families however, 15.6% of children still do not have access to water with 30 minutes. There are many types of water sources that can be provided and The Heartwarmers Foundation are not currently offering grants for this as there are many charities who can deliver this great service much more effectively.
